When I was in Oklahoma recently, my grandma and I were going through some old family photographs, and we found this real photo postcard. Grandma had no idea who the children were. The girl on the left end doesn't look very happy to be in the photo!
Fabulous! As for the unhappy girl, that expression seems to be found on many images from that era. Unfortunately the only postcards I've found from family have been from the '60s.

Oh, but look at that little boy with his curled toes. He looks full of happy energy.
