GRAND TETON FROM JENNY LAKE. West of Jenny Lake the Tetons culminate in a great group of spires rising more than a mile above Jackson Hole, presenting one of the most precipitous mountain fronts in the world. Grand Teton is the central spire of this group reaching an altitude of 13,747 feet.
