Main Street, Ardmore, Oklahoma

Ardmore Main Street (undivided)

Uncirculated

I took this picture when I was home in December 2010. I think it is the same block depicted in the postcard.

Downtown

That undivided one on the top is one cool card, although I'm not sure if it's really color (litho) or simply colored after the fact. Great card regardless! And not a horseless carriage in sight!

Wow, a wonderful "then and now" post! I am a sucker for this kind of posts. Very interesting to see the changes between the two pictures and how you captured the now in your photo :)

What a great postcard. It makes me feel like I'm looking out my hotel window onto that street scene. I'm so glad that corner building is still there.

Great street view to compare to. It's always satisfying to see corner buildings in old downtown areas kept up and not torn down.

Wonderful! It really hasn't changed so very much, if you discount the cars and horses, that is.
