Beautiful Lake Texoma, with 1250 miles of shore line and 220 square miles of sparkling blue water. The newest and largest lake in the Southwest with fishing, boating, hunting, and camping, is truly a Sportsman's year 'round Paradise.I grew up in Ardmore, in the upper left corner of the postcard. My family spent a lot of time at Lake Murray. In high school, I had a boyfriend from Madill, and his family had a boat on Lake Texoma, so I went there with them. The summer church camp I attended also was on the shoreline of Lake Texoma.
