New Brighton Pier

New Brighton Pier - Liverpool UK

Uncirculated

The Interweb indicates Liverpool's New Brighton Pier was built in the late 1800s next to the ferry pier. In the early 1920s, it closed for renovation, opening again in 1931. After the ferry ceased operation in the mid 20th century, traffic diminished at the pavilion, and it was demolished in the late 1970s.

Sigh, what a shame. It looks like a fun spot. It's so hard for me to imagine going to the beach fully clothed though.
