Speaking of Grandma

Here is grandma, circa 1947, on a real photo postcard. Isn't she a looker? She's still as glamorous today!

She was indeed stylish!

Was she a model? Why is she in the postcard?

It was common at the time for portraits and other photographs to be printed on postcard paper and sent in the mail. A neat tradition we're lost!

She has a dark side...but it's just the lighting! :)

Very glamorous! It's often a good to have a reminder that earlier generations were young and good looking once.

Didn't know picture postcards like this were once popular. I like that you have a full length body shot of your grandma--I enjoy seeing how clothes of past eras were actually worn. And a nice street scene with store windows in back.
